What PeakHour does

PeakHour 6 is a desktop application that measures and visualizes network performance on your Mac. Measurements — bandwidth, latency, packet loss, path data — are produced by your machine and stored locally.

Data we don't collect

The app does not transmit your measurement data to us. We do not run telemetry that links to an identity, nor do we sell or share usage data with third parties.

Data Apple handles

Because PeakHour is distributed through the Mac App Store, Apple processes your purchase, subscription, and crash reports under Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive anonymized App Store sales reports from Apple. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment details.

Email you send us

If you email support, sales, press, or security, we keep that thread so we can answer you and follow up later. We don't add you to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete the thread at any time.

This website

peakhour.app is hosted on Cloudflare. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) are processed by Cloudflare under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for security and abuse prevention. The site does not set tracking cookies and does not load third-party analytics.

Your rights

If you live somewhere with privacy rights legislation (GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, etc.), you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email privacy@peakhourapp.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
